India ratings: Star Plus holds on to top spot

Star Plus remained the most watched Hindi entertainment channel in latest round of official data from BARC.

According to latest figures for Week 28 of 2015, Star Plus delivered 380 (000s) GVTs (last week 416 GVTs), followed by Colors with 315 (000s) GVTs (last week 365 GVTs) and ZEE TV in third with 255 (000s) GVTs (last week 285 GVTs).

In fourth place was Life Ok with 231 (000s) GVTs (last week 239 GVTs) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia in fifth place with 164 (000s) GVTs (last week 178 GVTs).

On the shows front, ZEE TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ was the most watched show in the genre; it got 5643 TVTs. It was followed by Star Plus’ ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’, that garnered 5601 TVTs.
