India ratings: Star Plus extends lead

Star Plus remained the most watched Hindi entertainment channel in India and extended its lead over second placed, Colors.

According to official data from BARC for Week 31 of 2015, Star Plus registered 418 (000 Sum) (last week 367), followed by Colors with 340 (000 Sum) (last week 348) and ZEE TV in third with 261 (000 Sum) (last week 258).

The next tier consisted of Life Ok with 235 (000 Sum) (last week 221), while SAB TV remained in fifth place with 197 (000 Sum) (last week 221).

Amongst the shows ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ returned to pole position with 5868 (000 Sum), followed by last week’s number one show ‘Saathiya’ with 5805 (000 Sum) and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ in third with 5121 (000 Sum).
