India Ratings: Star Plus dominates Urban region

Star Plus extended its lead in the Urban region in latest India ratings provided by BARC India for Week 15 of 2019 (Saturday 6th April 2019 to Friday 12th April 2019).

Urban region
Star Plus delivered 436173 million Impressions, up slightly from 430733 million Impressions last week. Sony Entertainment Television was placed at No.2 with 373341 million Impressions, while Colors stayed at No.3 with 346222 million Impressions. ZEE TV in fourth with 322046 million Impressions and Sony SAB TV at No.5 with 297890 million Impressions.

The top performers in the Urban region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 5879 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ on Star Plus with 5799 million Impressions and ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 5747 million Impressions.

Rural region
Dangal stayed ahead in the Rural region with 839643 million Impressions, followed by Big Magic with 578681 million Impressions and ZEE TV with 215905 million Impressions. In fourth place, Star Plus registered 206249 millions and Colors with 186266 million Impressions.

The top performers in the Rural region were ‘Mahima Shanidev Ki’ on Dangal with 9101 million Impressions, followed by ‘Ramayan’ on Dangal with 8449 million Impressions and ‘Saibaba on Dangal with 5680 million Impressions.

U & R combined data
Dangal stayed top of the pile with 1081541 million Impressions, followed by Big Magic with 738439 million Impressions, Star Plus with 642422 million Impressions, ZEE TV with 537951 million Impressions and Colors rounding off the Top 5 with 532487 million Impressions.

The top performers in the combined data were ‘Mahima Shanidev Ki’ on Dangal with 11094 million Impressions, followed by ‘Ramayan’ on Dangal with 10349 million Impressions and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 10315 million Impressions.
