India ratings: ‘Race 2’ premiere pushes ZEE TV
The World TV Premiere of this year’s action thriller ‘Race 2’ has helped ZEE TV consolidate its position, however, it was unable to dislodge Star Plus from the top.
According to Week 20 of 2013, official data from TAM shows Star Plus maintaining the lead with 234 GRPs this week (last week 232). Even, Indian Premier League broadcaster, Sony MAX could not beat the old rival. It managed to get 229 GRPs (last week 224 GRPs).
ZEE TV was in second place amongst the Hindi entertainment channels adding 10 points. It delivered 184 GRPs this week (last week 174). ‘Race 2’ itself registered 1.9 TVR.
Colors was next with 174 GRPs (last week 165).
Sony Entertainment Television Asia was back to fourth place with 152 GRPs (last week 166).
Sony SAB TV delivered 132 GRPs (last week 131).
Star Life Ok fetched 122 GRPs this week (last week 123).
Sahara One got 13 GRPs (last week 13).
