Hindi entertainment��channels have witnessed their first significant impact from the Indian Premier League.
According to data for Week 15 of 2012, most of the channels have seen a dip in the ratings but with no change in the pecking order.
Star Plus remained the market leader with��262 GRPs (last week 271). Sony Entertainment Television Asia was in second with��205 GRPs (last week 211). Completing the Top Three, in third was ZEE TV with��192 GRPs (last week 211).
In fourth was Colors, which again has fallen below the 200 mark. It registered��190 GRPs (last week 203)
In the bottom tier was SAB TV in fifth with��122 GRPs this week (last week 125). Life Ok was one channel that was largely unaffected by the IPL. It touched��85 GRPs (last week 80).
Imagine TV, now on its way out went sliding down registering just��57 GRPs (last week 64).
