India ratings: Colors zooms back to third

Colors returned to third place in the latest India TV ratings, according to official data from TAM for Week 30 of 2014.

The channel’s new show ‘Shastri Sisters’ opened up with 2.6 TVM and averaged at 1.6 TVM throughout the week. Colors leaped ahead of Star Life Ok with 398 GTVM and a relative share of 16.11% (last week 347 TVM with 14.49% relative share). Star Life Ok on the other hand was back down to number four with 361 GTVM. The channel had a relative share of 14.62% (last week 361 TVM and 15.08%). Star Life Ok’s new show ‘Laut Aao Trisha’ opened up with 2.5 TVM averaging at 2.2 TVM throughout the week.

Star Plus was the top channel with an overwhelming 709 GTVMs with a relative share of 28.70% (last week 712 TVM with 29.74% relative share). ZEE TV remained in second with 439 GTVM and a relative share of 17.77% (last week 436 TVM and 18.21% relative share). Colors and Star Life Ok followed.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia was in fifth with 288 GTVM with a relative share of 11.66% (last week 270 TVM and 11.28% relative share). New fiction ‘Yudh’ slipped further to 0.8 TVM.

Sony SAB TV was in sixth with 275 GTVM with a relative share of 11.13% (last week 268 TVM and 11.19% relative share).

ZEE Network’s newly launched Zindagi garnered 23 GTVM, compared to last week’s 29 GVTM.
