India ratings: Colors tightens grip at No.1

Colors tightened its grip on top in latest Indian television ratings, according to official data from BARC for the final of 2015 {HSM: NCCS All : 4+ Individuals: BARC India base ��� All India (U+R), Ratings (000s)}.

Colors emerged as the clear leader at No.1 with 744923 (last week 725881), followed by free-to-air broadcaster, ZEE Anmol with 742876 (last week 712825). Star Plus remained in third with 712114 (last week 676890), followed by ZEE TV, which slipped further to 651175 (last week 669655) and Star Utsav in fifth with 464803 (last week 514354).

The next tier consisted of Life Ok, which lost the most TRPs amongst pay TV channels. It registered 396615 (last week 437469), followed by Rishtey with 379529 (last week 286712), SAB TV with 328873 (last week 323214), Sony PAL with 323119 (last week 239700). Shockingly, Sony Entertainment Television Asia slipped to tenth place with 314286 (last week 342689).

‘Naagin’ on Colors remained the most watched show in India with 19847 (last week 18549), followed by ZEE Anmol’s show ‘Ek Se Bhale Do’ with 13685 (last week 12739). Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ entered the chart at No.3 with 12599. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ on Colors were next.
