India ratings: Colors returns to No.1

Colors has dislodged Star Plus from latest India television ratings for Week 7 of 2016.

According to official data from BARC {HSM: NCCS All: 4+ Individuals: BARC India base ��� All India (U+R), Impressions (000s)}, Colors delivered 716604 Impressions (last week 689432), followed by Star Plus, which dropped to No.2 with 692564 Impressions (last week 711158) and ZEE TV in third with 666691 Impressions (last week 686349).

The next tier consisted of ZEE Anmol at No.4 with 656412 (last week 669828), Life Ok in fifth place with 465971 (last week 437228), Star Utsav with 446217 (last week 437543), Sony Pal with 433875 (last week 397413), Rishtey with 371925 (last week 343724), SAB TV with 355146 (Impressions in 000s) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia with 336447 (last week 349537).

In terms of programming, ‘Naagin’ on Colors remained the most watched show across Indian television with 20284 Impressions (last week 20680), followed by DD National’s coverage of the third T20 between India and Sri Lanka fetching 16321 Impressions. ZEE TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ was in third with 15721 Impressions (last week 14261) and ZEE Anmol’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ in fourth with 12911 Impressions (last week 13447). Star Plus’ ‘Saathiya’ rounded off the Top 5 with 12443 Impressions.
