India ratings: Colors remains no.1 for second week

India’s newly crowned number one channel, Colors, maintains its popularity by staying at the top for the second consectutive week.

According to latest TAM data for week ending 18th April, the Viacom-18 owned channel shed a few points but remained comfortably ahead of STAR Plus.

Colors sat at the top with 285 GRPs, while STAR Plus upped it ante slightly from 267 last week to 274 GRPs. ZEE TV remained unchanged at number three with 232 GRPs.

NDTV Imagine occupied the distant fourth position with 90 GRPs. Sony Entertainment Television Asia is at 73 GRPs, while STAR One has slipped and is at 54 GRPs. Sahara One is at 49 GRPs, SAB is at 46 GRPs, Real is at 17 GRPs, STAR Utsav and 9X are at 25 GRPs and 23 GRPs, respectively.
