Viacom18’s Hindi entertainment channel, Colors, has stormed ahead of its rivals with record ratings, thanks to the phenomenal start its new reality show ‘Fear Factor Khataron Ke Khiladi Level 2’ got.

The series fronted by Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar, fetched an average TVR of 4.4 in its opening week, according to latest Indian viewership data from TAM.

Speaking about the show and the channel, Rajesh Kamat, CEO of Colors says, “Khatron Ke Khiladi opened to great reviews last year and it is encouraging to see the great response this year as well. The return of this show with its Level 2 literally marks the Level 2 for the channel as well, as we have a tremendous line up of fiction and format shows coming up beginning with Big Boss Season 3 and Bairi Piya, which will soon go on-air.”

In Week 37, Colors thrashed its nearest rival, STAR Plus by collecting 325 GRPs. Colors was ahead of STAR Plus (273 GRPs) by a huge 52 GRPs.

ZEE TV remains steady in third place with 254 GRPs.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia managed to gain 131 GRPs, NDTV Imagine hovered in fifth place with 100 GRPs and SAB TV in sixth with 69 GRPs.
