India ratings: Colors boasts ‘KKK3’ debut

Colors’ recently launched ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 3’ has had one of the biggest reality TV launches of 2010, according to TAM viewership data.

The data shows that ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 3’ registered a rating of 6.9 TVR, that’s higher than ‘Dance India Dance Lil Masters’ on ZEE TV, which got 6.7. It also clocked viewership than Colors’ own ‘National Bingo Night’, which got 5.5.

With this, the launch episode helped the channel see a 47% jump since last year.

This upswing clearly suggests that the audiences have appreciated the new format with 13 hunks and Priyanka Chopra.
