In Picture: Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya as host of ‘The Voice’

Popular television star, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, known as Ishita in ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, will soon make her official debut as host on the soon-to-launch singing show ‘The Voice’.

Dahiya is also set to make her digital debut with a show on ALT Balaji, has an exciting year ahead with the three shows she is juggling. Taking to social media today, Dahiya shared her first picture as host of the much awaited singing show.

Talking to a publication, Dahiya said, “It’s not my anchoring debut. I had done anchoring for award shows earlier. But being a solo anchor for a reality show, dealing with ‘real people’ away from glamour, dedicated towards their art is my first. It is a lot of time management, but I am not complaining. I am loving the fact that I am part of three different genres and am getting the ability to experiment as an actor. Yes, it’s draining and I know that it’s easier said than done, but I’m sure it’s possible with planning as well as cooperation from my production houses and channel.”

‘The Voice’ launches on Star Plus, Sunday 3rd February at 20:00.
