Ileana D’Cruz bags ‘Gabbar’ opposite Akshay Kumar?

Not long since Sanjay Leela Bhansali confirmed ‘Gabbar’,��the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Ramana’ (2002), BizAsia has learnt that Ileana D’Cruz may well have been signedto play��female lead opposite Akshay Kumar.

The actress is already on many filmmakers’ wishlist after her commendable debut in Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi!’ (2012). Although many will feel her jodi with Bollywood’s khiladi may be a little out of the ordinary, it is inevitable that Bhansali will give her the best platform to continue in the same spirit as��her already remarkable start in B-town.

The film is expected to go on the floors later this year.
