Hum TV Europe to air hit series ‘Humsafar’

Hum TV Europe has confirmed that it will be broadcasting the hit romantic series ‘Humsafar’ later this month.

The popular show, which previously ran on Colors and Rishtey in the UK proved immensely popular in the ratings.

‘Humsafar’ is directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat and is based on the Urdu novel ‘Humsafar’ of the same name written by Farhat Ishtiaq. The story revolves around the trials and tribulations of a married couple, Asher Hussain (Fawad Afzal Khan) and Khirad Ihsan (Mahira Khan), and the jealous forces that work to break them apart. The story of ‘Humsafar’ (Novel) was laid out in retrospective manner and was mainly told in flashbacks. However the drama�۪s narrative is mostly linear.

‘Humsafar’ will air weekends at 21:00 from Saturday 17th January.
