Hrithik Roshan to perform at IIFA 2014

The press conference for the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, now in their 15th year, is currently ongoing. The list of performers of the grand night will be revealed soon. BizAsia can confirm that Hrithik Roshan will be performing at the main event.

This year, the award weekend takes place in Tampa Bay, Florida, between 23rd-26th April. There have been strong hints given of possible Hollywood presence.

The press meet was attended by Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bipasha Basu and Pritam. Kapoor Khan was heard saying, “IIFA lets us put our best foot forward to take Indian cinema to a global level”.

Dixit-Nene stated, “Can’t wait to entertain my fans in America”.

What with Roshan headlining the performances and Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor set to host, IIFA 2014 already looks to be the event of the year.
