Earlier this year, actor Sonu Sood turned distributor and producer with Indo-Chinese production, ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ (2017), starring Jackie Chan. He took charge of the India release of the movie. Now, he wants to expand his CV further into event management.
His first Bollywood-centric show was be held today in Dubai. Reports also say that close friend Hrithik Roshan will make an appearance too. Apart from Roshan, Bollywood musicians, including rapper Badshah, singer Neeti Mohan and composer duo Vishal-Shekhar will enthral the audience with their musical acts, reports Mid Day. Sood said in an interview, “It has been a long-standing dream to do events. I did my first event in college as a 17-year-old. It was a fashion show in Nagpur. I feel this is the perfect time for me to kick-start this, and the idea is to do many more Bollywood events like this one, across the globe.”

For Roshan, the show marks his comeback to the stage. Though he performed at an awards gala last year, he hasn’t done any acts this year. Besides dancing to his pasts hits from ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ (2000) ‘Bang Bang’ (2014) to name a few, the star is also expected to rap with Badshah.
Without divulging much detail about the performances at the charitable event, Sood said, “We wanted the acts to be interactive. There are activities planned between Hrithik and the audience. They will get a chance to dance with him. He will get fans up on stage.”
