Hrithik Roshan is in high demand after the success of ‘War’ (2019). As he contemplates whether to sign Farah Khan’s next film, he is now reportedly being offered a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ starring Alia Bhatt.
The character in question is the infamous mafia don Haji Mastan, who has inspired several Bollywood movies. “Bhansali has been in talks with Hrithik Roshan for that role, but Hrithik wants to do something significant after ‘War’. The success of the film and its entry into the 300 crore club has suddenly put pressure on an actor,” a source told The Asian Age, adding that Roshan is currently deciding if he wants to star in a crowd-pleasing commercial movie or a more serious art film.
Roshan’s only upcoming project as of now is ‘Krrish 4’, which may begin shooting in January 2020.
