Hina Khan confirms quitting ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’

There have been many rumours doing the rounds as to whether lead actress Hina Khan would be exiting popular TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Although much was said to be speculation and incorrect, Khan herself has now confirmed that reports are indeed true.

Pinkvilla quote the actress in a report as saying, “Yes, I am quitting the show this month. With a heavy heart, my journey in Yeh Rishta has come to an end. Of course, I know people are emotionally attached but everything has a saturation point. I want to progress in my life. Many times I have said I am never going part of this show but Rajan Sir has taught me that never say never”.

Khan is expected to shoot until the end of the month. Recently, Karan Mehra also left the show.

Incidentally, there is talk that Parul Chauhan might be her replacement but this remains to be seen.
