‘Hero’ makers drop Jacqueline Fernandez item song?

Last month, it was being said that Salman Khan’s home production ‘Hero’ would also include an item song in which Jacqueline Fernandez would feature in. However, now it seems plans for the song have been dropped.

It seems director Nikhil Advani and other makers decided that the song was no longer a necessity. According to Mid-Day, a source said, “Jacky had started rehearsing for the item song with debutant actor Sooraj Pancholi last month. However, it is not happening anymore. The film’s director Nikhil Advani and the producers saw the rough cut and decided to skip the number as the film looks fine without it. Also, it would have unnecessarily made it lengthy”.

Another source also confirmed, “Jacqueline was rehearsing for the song, but the makers eventually decided against shooting the song”.

Fernandez was a popular choice for song having starred opposite Khan in Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut, ‘Kick’ (2014).
