Harshdeep Kaur and Ash King to perform at Alchemy Festival
Two of India’s most distinctive vocal talents come together to perform their recent hits, as well as a new collaboration produced especially for the Alchemy festival in London this Spring.
Indian playback singer Harshdeep will be performing in her distinct Sufi style, with tracks including ���Heer� (Jab Tak Hai Jaan) and ���Katiya Karun� (Rockstar). Soul and R�۪n�۪B singer Ash performs some of last year’s film hits including ���Te Amo� (Dum Maaro Dum), for which he won the 2012 Stardust Award for Best Male Singer, ���I Love You� (Bodyguard) and the classic ���Love is Blind�. Both artists have debuted in Bollywood under the aegis of Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman.
The show has been musically directed by Shammi Pithia and Michael Goodey, with a full musical orchestra. The show will be part of Southbank Centre�۪s eclectic Alchemy Festival, which takes place between 10 – 21 April 2013.
The show takes place on Saturday 20th April 2013, 7.30pm at Southbank Centre.
