Harpz Kaur to step down as CBBC ‘Saturday Mash-Up’ host

Harpz Kaur is stepping down as host of CBBC’s ‘Saturday Mash-Up’ show, its been confirmed.

Kaur took to her Facebook to announce the news. She said, “…Due to changes, sadly I am no longer going to be a part of #SaturdayMashup – I’ve had the BEST 2.5 Years on @cbbc 🌟And I will miss the team terribly! Thankyou for ALL the love & support you guys have shown me over the years by watching! It doesn’t go unnoticed. You’re the best! 🥲 Love ya Joe 💛”

Kaur presented the show along with Joe Tasker when it launched in February 2020.

Kaur recently also left her BBC Asian Network ‘Breakfast’ show after a five-year stint. She was named amongst one of the BBC’s highest paid stars of 2021 when she was on a salary of £160,000 – £164,999 for both her BBC Asian Network and CBBC duties.
