Gujarati station, Radio Utsav in Leicester exploring options to sell
The owners of the Leicester‑based Gujarati radio station Radio Utsav are exploring to sell-up.
Launched in the summer of 2024, Radio Utsav currently operates under Leicester Community Enterprise Services CIC. However, the organisation is now seeking to offload the station and is inviting interest for a full strategic buy‑out.
Radio Utsav is a DAB‑only broadcaster, available across several small‑scale multiplexes including Coventry, Milton Keynes, Nottingham and parts of West and South London.
The station operates in a competitive Gujarati‑language market, facing established rivals such as Sanskar Radio (owned by Sabras Radio) and Satsang Radio, both of which cater to religious and cultural audiences.
