Gujarati comedy play ‘Pappa Tofani Mummy Mastani’ set for UK tour

Jay’s Entertainment and Triumphal Entertainment have announced UK tour dates for the superhit Gujarati comedy show ‘Pappa Tofani Mummy Mastani’.

Starring Vinayakketkar Ketkar (Wagle Ki Duniya fame – Sony SAB TV) Kinjal Bhatt, Prithvi Pancholi Bhakti Dange Harshil Raval Pushpak Trivedi Joshi Mehul Anilkumar Nilesh Patel and Leicester’s very own Jay Kotak of Jay’s Entertainment. It is written by Pravin Solanki and Directed by Firoz Bhagat.

Kotak said, “As a promoter of Bollywood events for over 15 years, with a dream of being an actor, I finally realise my passion as I debut in the hilarious hit comedy drama, Papa Toofani, Mummy Mastani.”

The story revolves around a father, Bechardas, who is frustrated by his family’s (son Rocky, Ashok, daughter-in- law Daksha, and daughter Pinky) irresponsible lifestyle and superfluous expenses. It makes him come up with a plan through which he wants to make his kids responsible. But will his plan come to fruition, or will his wife Mangla figure out his plan and come up with her own plan to teach them a lesson.

It tours the UK this week:
– Friday 2nd June at 8pm Wythenshawe Forum, Manchester
– Saturday 3rd June at 8pm De Montfort Hall, Leicester
– Sunday 4th June at 3pm Matinee and 8pm Winston Churchill Theatre, Ruislip, London
