Govinda irreplaceable in ‘Jagga Jasoos’?

It was being said not long ago that Govinda, who had filmed his scenes as Ranbir Kapoor’s father in ‘Jagga Jasoos’, had a fallout with Anurag Basu. Basu was thought to have approached other actors to play the role instead. However, now it seems Govinda’s scenes may well be kept in.

A source confirmed to Deccan Chronicle that although Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor were thought to have been approached, neither were able to take up the role. As a result it seems Basu will have to retain Govinda’s already shot scenes. “Govinda�۪s scenes were already filmed. Had they found a replacement, those portions would have been reshot. But now, in all probability, it is Govinda�۪s footage that will be retained,” said the source.

‘Jagga Jasoos’ also stars Katrina Kaif and is a musical which will see Ranbir play a teenager to start.
