Giaa Manek wins award for ‘Jeannie Aur Juju’

Popular TV actress, Giaa Manek has won the Best Actress award for her character in ‘Jeannie Aur Juju’ at the recently held 22nd Kalakar Awards in Kolkota.

What makes the award even more special is Manek is no longer working on the Sony SAB TV sitcom. However the judging panel at the ceremony thought Manek deserved it more than the other nominees in that category.

Manek left ‘Jeannie Aur Juju’ after her contract came to an end. She is currently in talks with various channels about new projects but is yet to sign on the dotted line.
