Films & TV shows to re-commence shooting in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra government has made way for films and television shows to resume shooting in non-containment zones from this month.

When work begins, producers will be required to adhere to strict rules and conditions. Times Now reports that dedicated personnel must be on set to check temperature of cast and crew. Emergency services must also be present on set while shooting. Pregnant crew or crew member whose spouse is expecting will not be permitted on set during the shoot. Any actors aged above 65 will be prohibited to shoot.

Furthermore, the government has also requested producers to avoid open calls and assign specific call timings for cast and crew members. Shooting crew should maintain a six-feet distance from each other and wear masks. Actors will need to do look tests via video calls prior to reaching the set.

Filming is expected to commence around 20th June 2020.
