Filmmaker moves court over “foul play” in Sridevi’s death

Filmmaker Sunil Singh has filed a plea in the Supreme Court, seeking an investigation into the death of veteran actress, Sridevi.

The popular star died after accidental drowning on 24th February in Dubai. However, Singh does not seem to be convinced by the conclusion from the autopsy. His earlier plea was rejected at the Delhi High Court. He has now filed a petition claiming that death of Sridevi is a matter of national interest and is seeking a probe, according to Mirror Now.

Earlier, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson, said, “As far as I know, the paperwork from UAE govt were handed over to us and on the basis of that the mortal remains were brought to India. Had there been something suspicious, it would have come out by now.”
