Farhan-Arjun to come together in ‘Rock On!!’ sequel

Sequels were the flavour of the day in 2013 but it’s safe to say that they don’t always garner the same place in the audience’s hearts as the prequels. One sequel that seems to have been on the cards for some time is to ‘Rock On!!’ (2008) and news now has it that Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal will be seen in the second instalment too.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani has roped in the two who played male leads in the prequel as well as Purab Kohli. Aside from this, the rest of the cast for the movie is yet to bee finalised. It has also been confirmed that director of the first film, Abhishek Kapoor, will not be putting on his director’s hat for this film but ad filmmaker��Shujaat Saudagar will be heading the ship instead.

The ‘Rock On!!’ sequel is expected to go on the floors in January 2015.
