Farhan Akhtar to feature in Disney Plus’ ‘Ms Marvel’ series

Although rumours have been around about this news for some time, it’s now confirmed that Farhan Akhtar will indeed be featuring in the upcoming ‘Ms Marvel’ series on Disney Plus.

Akhtar will apparently be in an interesting guest-starring role but the other detail of his character in the series haven’t yet been revealed. Taking to social media, Akhtar confirmed his role, “Grateful that the universe gifts these opportunities to grow, learn and in this case have a ton of fun while doing it.”

‘Ms Marvel’ will see a Muslim American teenage girl as the main character, played by Iman Vellani, and it will be premiering on Disney Plus on 8th June.

Akhtar will soon be directing a women trip trip film starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, titled ‘Jee Le Zaraa’.
