Farhan Akhtar “holding up OK” post separation from wife

Last week, news broke that the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar had separated from his wife of 15 years, Adhuna. When asked how he feels, following their statement that they would like some privacy and no media glare, he says that he is “OK”.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Akhar said, “I�۪m actually holding up pretty ok because it was amicably done.��What�۪s important right now are her feelings, our children�۪s feelings and to make sure it�۪s as civil as possible”.

He also spoke about his forthcoming film ‘Rock On 2’ which is a second instalment of 2008’s hit which he also starred in. “As the title suggests, it�۪s going to be a lot of rock ��� but with a slightly more contemporary touch. It�۪s more evolved, just like the characters who have grown since the first movie. The music in Rock On was more young and grungier, to suit the context of the film, ” said Akhtar, who is currently shooting for the film.

Akhtar was last seen in ‘Wazir’ which releases earlier this month. He was appreciated for his performance in the film which also featured Amitabh Bachchan.
