KriArj Entertainment has hit the headlines lately for a number of reasons and it seems another of their co-productions may have hit a roadblock. Reports suggest that the shoot of Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer ‘Fanne Khan’ has been stalled.

“The freelancers associated with the project have a contract with KriArj Entertainment. We were told that the payments would come in by early March, but haven’t received a penny. So, we’ve decided not to start work on the next schedule till we get paid. We have given an ultimatum to the producers to clear the dues by April 15,” said a crew member, according to Mid-Day.

Rajiv Tandon from Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures, however, denied the news, “We were working towards getting a particular choreographer on board. That took a while. The shoot is lined up for April 24 to May 7”.

Interestingly, KriArj’s Prernaa Arora wasn’t available for comment but a spokesperson said, “There seems to be a concerted and obvious effort from some people who are trying to create stories on a regular basis to try and malign our production house. We have been putting a sincere and determined effort to make good films and further establish ourselves into this great industry and will continue to do so. We believe in keeping our head down and focus on doing good work”.

KriArj Entertainment recently opted out of ‘Kedarnath’ but Ronnie Screwvala has since been brought on board.
