EXCLUSIVE: VIEWASIA bouquet set for changes?

Multi Screen Media’s VIEWASIA bundle is expected to change it’s positioning in the coming months,BizAsia.co.uk��can reveal.

VIEWASIA compromises of Sony TV Network channels, Sony Entertainment Television Asia, MAX and SAB TV. Third party channels include Colors, B4U Movies, ARY Digital, Sahara One and Aaj Tak.

According to sources close to��BizAsia.co.uk, the bundle could segregate with a couple of the channels turning free-to-air or standalone premium channels. It is not yet known, which channels will follow this move but as reported onBizAsia.co.uk��earlier today, SAB TV is looking likely to turn free-to-air as a preview window to its network of channels.

Rumours also doing the rounds that Aaj Tak, Sahara One and ARY Digital are toying with the idea of running as free services. Colors and B4U Movies may remain as part of a smaller VIEWASIA bundle.

BizAsia.co.uk��spoke to a couple of the broadcasters in question and said that talks were still ongoing and it was too early to comment. One broadcaster confirmed that the changes were likely in the next two months but said a decision on changes was still pending.
