EXCLUSIVE: Club Asia administrators appointed

BizAsia.co.uk can reveal that Rod Weston and Tony Flynn of Mazars, have jointly been appointed administrators of troubled London station, Club Asia.

The news was confirmed just a few hours ago, which will now result in the administrators taking full control of the sale of the station registered as ‘Club Asia London Ltd’. This will no doubt prove disheartening news for Directors Humerah Ahmad and Sumerah Srivastava and others involved in the station’s short-term success.

Both sisters were hoping to secure some financial support from a third-party before administrators took control but their efforts were unsuccessful. According to industry speculation, Humerah and Sumerah’s asking price for the sale of the station was too high.

Business Recovery Group, Mazars, has informed interested parties to contact them for further information about the station’s sale.

Mazars will supply information relating to the company only after signing a non-disclosure agreement to protect sensitive information about the station.
