Esha Gupta on her downfall

After a successful debut in Bollywood, Esha Gupta’s career saw an unfortunate dip. ��The actress recently spoke up about her downfall and how she dealt with it.

Speaking to��Deccan Chronicle, Gupta said, “My first two years were fab and then suddenly there was a downfall. My other movies gt lot of negative reviews and unfortunately I was starting to get B-grade movie offers which had a lot of money but no name. However, I knew if I want to grow I had to be focused.”

The actress had signed Sajid Khan’s ‘Humshakals’ (2014) with a lot of hope, however, when that failed to click, Gupta had more retrospecting to do. ��She has no regrets though, as her most recent release, ‘Rustom’ (2016) has done exceptionally well.

“It (‘Humshakals’) did give me a jolt… I waited for the right movie and ‘Rustom happened’. I am proud of this movie,” she added.
