Emraan Hashmi speaks on son Ayaan’s cancer battle

Recently, Emraan Hashmi shared his eye-opening experience and meaningful insights at the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Indian Association of Paediatric Surgeons, where he was invited as a special guest to address the audience. He shared his experience as a parent of a child, who has undergone a major surgical procedure.

According to IANS, the conference was attended by more than 500 Paediatric Surgeons from India and abroad, including 30 delegates from 10 different countries. Hashmi’s son Ayaan who is now in remission was diagnosed with an illness in January last year.

Recently, the star announced his decision to author a book that will give details on how to cope with the stress of undergoing such a challenging situation. With the book, the actor hopes to provide comfort and guidance to those whose loved ones are battling cancer or a critical illness. At the conference, Hashmi also spoke about his book for the very first time discussing its inclusions and chapters to have feedback on it from a medical perspective.
