Dubai Police hand clearance letter to release Sridevi’s body

The Consulate General of India, Dubai has confirmed that police has handed over clearance letters to release Sridevi’s body.

In a tweet by Consulate General of India, Dubai, it said, “Update: Dubai Police has handed over the Consulate and the family members letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor so that they can proceed for embalming.”

Sridevi’s body is expected to be flown back to Mumbai by late evening (India time).
