Dr Aamir Liaquat Husain remains with Geo TV

Dr Aamir Liaquat Husain has made a U-turn about his decision to defect to rival network, Hum TV.

Last month, BizAsia reported that Husain was set to leave Geo TV to head Ramadan programming at Hum TV. However, Geo TV has confirmed that Husain is not leaving and will be fronting its Ramadan transmission, which has been described as the “biggest” yet.

Husain’s future with Geo TV was put in doubt after BizAsia was shown official documentation by Hum TV. It remains to be seen what Hum TV will broadcast as part of its Ramadan transmission.
