Doctors-centric drama to launch on Sony TV

A new drama serial based around the lives of doctors is set to launch on Sony Entertainment Television Asia in September.

The as yet untitled show is set to give the channel a boost in its fiction line-up after successes with ‘Bade Ache Lagte Hain’ and ‘Saas Bina Sasural’.

The drama will star Mohnish Behl and Kritika Kamra. It is being produced by Rajan Shahi.

A source told TellyBuzz, “Mohnish Behl will once again essay the role of a senior doctor in the show after his stint with Dill Mill Gayye. His life is completely dedicated to his patients, and his bland lifestyle has made him cynical and cold-hearted. His life takes a new turn when the bubbly and full of life young girl, played by Kritika joins the hospital as the new intern. Their varying attitude towards life and the way in which they cope with it will pave way for a fascinating new relationship between them. In addition to Mohnish and Kritika, talented actor Rukhsar will also play a pivotal role”.
