Dilip Kumar is “doing much better now”

Veteran actor, Dilip Kumar is said to be on the road to recovery after tweets from his Twitter account confirmed he was doing better.

Kumar, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on Wednesday for dehydration and urinary tract infection, took a turn for the worse with reports of kidney failure.

However, tweets from Kumar’s account said: “Dilip Saab is doing much better now. Pls remember him in your prayers. The excellent team of doctors and staff of Lilavati Hospital along with Saira Baaji are caring for Dilip Saab 24×7.”

Meanwhile, Jalal D Parker, one of the doctors, told IANS, “He is better than yesterday (Saturday). He is not on dialysis, not on ventilator. Kidney functions are improving.”
