Dibakar Banerjee eager to make ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ sequel

While Dibakar Banerjee�۪s creative take on Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay�۪s stories helmed into his film, ��Detective Byomkesh Bakshy�۪ (2015), it failed to create the ripple effect expected. This hasn�۪t disheartened Banerjee though,��who is eager to take the story forward with Aditya Chopra.

To DNA India, Banerjee confirmed that Aditya Chopra is keen to continue Byomkesh�۪s story. He also added that they had always planned to make a series of films based on Bandyopadhyay�۪s stories.

��Detective Byomkesh Bakshy�۪ starred Sushant Singh Rajput and had released in April this year.
