‘Dhoom 3’ to release at the IMAX

As the shooting for the film continues, it has been reported that the third instalment of the Yash Raj Films’ ‘Dhoom’��franchise is to be released at London’s IMAX cinema.

NDTV��reported the��production house chairman and legendary film-maker, Yash Chopra, confirming, “IMAX has always symbolised high quality film entertainment and experience and this vision of the company works very well with the ethos of YRF, which has been synonymous with Indian film entertainment over the last four decade… We are indeed happy to announce our association with IMAX for the additional release of��Dhoom 3��in this exciting format next year.”

‘Dhoom 3’ will be the first Bollywood film to ever be screened at the IMAX, which automatically raises the bar for the action-packed film.��Greg Foster, chairman and president, IMAX Filmed Entertainment also commented, “With its riveting action set pieces, global locales and stunning visuals,��Dhoom 3��is an ideal film to take advantage of our immersive format as we begin our initiative with Indian-language/Bollywood films.”

Set to release in 2013, ‘Dhoom 3’ will star original actors Uday Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan, along with Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif playing additional characters.
