Veteran star Dharmendra has received his first shot of the coronavirus vaccine amidst the rise in cases in Maharashtra.

In a post shared on his Twitter, the actor said, “Tweet karte karte…. josh aa gaya …aur main nikal gaya….vaccination lene …. it’s definitely not a show off…but to inspire you all….. Friends, please take care.”

He told SpotBoye, “I recommend it to all, especially the elders. If we must stop this terrible virus, social distancing and the vaccination are the only way out. I am very saddened to see people in Mumbai not wearing their masks, not following COVID-19 guidelines. By pretending that the pandemic is gone, it won’t go away. We must continue to be very careful.”
