Dhanush confirms Kajol not playing negative character in ‘VIP 2’

Dhanush has refuted rumours that Kajol is playing a negative character in ‘Vella Illa Pathadhaari 2’.

The Internet was buzzing when the trailer of the film emerged, with most speculating Kajol playing the antagonist in the film.

However, Dhanush was cited in BollywoodLife saying, “Kajol is not playing a negative role.”

He added, “It was not inspired from Gupt. She is not playing an antagonist. Two people don’t have to believe in the same thing. You don’t have to look at Vasundhara Parameshwaran as an antagonist.”

So it seems that Kajol may not be playing a negative character after all. However, her character will differ to Dhanush’s in the film, which will be something worth watching out for.
