Bengali entertainment channel, Desh TV has gone off-air completely and removed from the Sky Digital channel line-up today.

Desh TV launched in April last year and was a free-to-air channel. It is not yet known what has happened to it. With the way the Desh TV has left the digital TV platform, its future looks bleak.

Looking at the channel’s label off the EPG, it has ceased broadcasting there too with just a blank screen showing. EPG data information is also non-existent.

When the channel launched last year, it promised to offer an alternative with more local shows to its rivals such as ATN Bangla, Channel S, Channel I and Bangla TV.

Desh TV was available previously on Sky channel 850.
