‘Deewana’ sequel on the cards

With more and more sequels making their way to the big screen, another classic film to be revisited is the 1992 romance movie ‘Deewana’.

The sequel to the original that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Rishi Kapoor and the late Divya Bharti, will be made by��Guddu Dhanoa.��”We are making a romantic film but it is a completely different story. We are using the title��Deewana but something would be added to the title. It is like how Bhatts are making films like ‘Murder’��(2004) and ‘Jannat’ (2008). I am also doing something similar, NDTV��reporter the filmmaker stating.

Having finished the script, Dhanoa is now on the hunt for the faces of his characters, “We are in talks with actors but nothing is finalised yet.”
