Deepika Padukone signs lucrative endorsement deal

Versatile actress Deepika Padukone has of late launched a clothing line with America’s leading wardrobe company PVH Corp’s brand ‘Van Huesen’.

The actress asserted that instead of top models, her ordinary fans will be trained for the ramp show to display the collection of the brand. And the interesting thing is that Padukone herself would train her fans who will be picked at random from across the country.

“I thought it would be interesting to pick girls who identify with the way I dress. We haven’t selected them on the basis of their looks, height or whether they are experienced models. It was a random pick from the entries we had.” Padukone told ZEE News.

Despite her busy schedule, the actress is trying to finish her commitments soon and take out some time to train the girls personally.

“I will try to make it as memorable and special for them. I will spend time with them, chat and groom them so that they go back with great memories. I have always been grateful to my fans and, in whatever little way, I have always tried to give back.” said the 28-year-old actress.

Padukone will soon feature opposite Rajnikanth in ‘Kochadaiiyan’, a Tamil film directed by R. Ashwin.
