Deepika Padukone to be romanced by Salman Khan?

There was news previously that Sooraj Barjatya�۪s next with Salman Khan as male lead would have Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite him. However, when news spread that Kapoor Khan was unable to do the film, many names came into play in her place. However, it seems that the makers are finally zeroing in on none other than Deepika Padukone, which will give their film a fresh pairing not seen before.

Previously, Padukone has mentioned that she wants to work with Khan and Khan has also recently gone on record to say he is liking Padukone�۪s work of late. It seems that the two may well be seen together in Barjatya�۪s project. According to Bollywood Life, he said, ���We�۪ve had several meetings with Deepika and the talks have reached an advance stage. Right now, we are figuring out the dates since it�۪s a long schedule. However, nothing is official yet�۝.

As Padukone has stated not long ago, a film with Khan would be a special one for her. No doubt if she is actually signs the film, it will be one to watch out for.
