Deepika Padukone still working on new scripts & projects during lockdown

In order to not lose any momentum with future projects, Deepika Padukone is engaging in online script narrations during the current lockdown.

She is working with filmmakers and locking in scripts for any new future projects, reports DNA India. A source stated, “Deepika has been working on her projects that are already announced and is also listening to newer scripts via video conferencing to decide her next projects.”

Meanwhile, Padukone would have been currently shooting for Shakun Batra’s directorial in Sri Lanka if life was moving as normal. On this topic, the source added, “Had it not been for the lockdown, Deepika would have currently been in Sri Lanka, shooting for Shakun Batra’s untitled next that also stars actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.”

The superstar was recently asked about spending lockdown with husband and fellow star, Ranveer Singh. She said, “I have to say, he’s the easiest person to live with, in this scenario. He’s sleeping for about 20 hours, which allows me time to do things that I want to do. For the four hours that he’s awake, we’re either watching a movie, eating, exercising. He’s a real joy to be with at this time. No demands, no hassles, he’s very easy.”
