Deepika Padukone & Sonakshi Sinha approached for trilingual film?

It’s no secret that cinema from the South has an enormous global reach, and with actors and actresses from Bollywood also signing projects from those industries makes it all the more interesting. News has it that South filmmaker Sundar C has approached two of Bollywood’s most sought after actresses, to play a part in his next Tamil-Telegu-Hindi film.

“The team is in talks with a few top heroines including Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone. Though they have been approached, nothing has been finalised, ” New Indian Express reports a source revealing.

They went on to add, “The film is a well-packaged fictionalised historical drama. Sundar C has been researching on the subject for a long time and this is one of his pet projects.”

Titled ‘Sangamithra’, reports reveal that music composer A R Rahman will be responsible for the film’s soundtrack.

“By the end of June, the shooting will begin. Since the film will have a pan-Indian appeal, we’re keen to bring in renowned actresses,” the source expressed.
