The beautiful Deepika Padukone seems to have her pick of promising projects lately. The latest news suggests that the actress has given the nod to star in the remake of Khoon Bhari Maang۪ (1988).
The film starred Rekha, Kabir Bedi and Sonu Walia and was a popular Rakesh Roshan production (he also directed and acted in it) of the 80s era. It is thought that Roshan as looking to remake the film with a modern treatment and buzz seems to be that Padukone would play the part originally rendered by Rekha.
Padukone, in the mean time, has been occupied with the shoot of her forthcoming film directed by Imtiaz Ali, Tamasha, as well as Sanjay Leela Bhansali۪s Bajirao Mastani۪.
